Akoustis Technologies Inc. was founded in 2014 amid a growing opportunity for RF (radio frequency) wireless technology to act as a filter in the mobile market, mainly for 5G and emerging WiFi-6E. A group of industry vets came together with one common goal: to innovate. Their idea was simple — constantly push the barriers of what is possible by researching and developing new innovative solutions to tackle the new challenges and opportunities of 5G and emerging WiFi-6E technology.
Akoustis Technologies was striving to create a product that not only grasped the full potential of 5G and WiFi-6, but broadened it. Over the course of six years, the team has been investing heavily in R&D to come out with the premier 5G and WiFi-6 (and emerging WiFi-6E) filters for the wireless base station, WiFi AP and defense markets. After years of innovative collaboration and progress, Akoustis Technologies Inc. was ready to go commercial with their brand and all their products, and recruited BRK to help make that step.
To support Akoustis Technologies in their transformation to commercialization, BRK was tasked with developing a full brand identity for the client – embodying their state of the art RF Filter Technology and solutions, plus the team’s expertise and innovation that brought them to their cutting-edge results. After the brand launch, BRK was to use the commercialized brand assets initially developed for the client and apply them to an inbound marketing strategy. The goal of this strategy was to drive traffic to the brand’s newly developed website, increase the site’s SEO ranking, and increase lead volume. Both phases of this plan required that BRK create a variety of cohesive assets for Akoustis Technology, including a branded website, an animated brand launch video, a tradeshow strategy, and a digital content strategy including blogs, newsletters, organic social content, PPC ads, paid LinkedIn ads and performance reports.
