Account Executive – Hands-On Marketing
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive for our marketing agency who does more than just manage timelines — this is a hands-on marketing role. You will be responsible for directly executing day-to-day marketing initiatives from project planning to execution to final delivery across strategy, creative development, digital campaigns, content creation, social media, and video/film production, while simultaneously managing client expectations and maintaining strong relationships. This position reports to the Director of Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining client relationships, confidently interacting with all levels of leadership.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for clients across multiple channels.
- Execute marketing campaigns from start to finish, including digital advertising, email, social, content marketing, and video production.
- Writing strategic creative briefs to ensure projects meet defined targets and goals.
- Facilitate meetings, manage agendas, and capture clear notes with action items to share with appropriate stakeholders and team members.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building relationships, maintaining strong communication, understanding business objectives, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal creative and production teams to create high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to clients.
- Seamlessly manage multiple projects and budgets of various scopes with differing and converging timelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on marketing experience in an agency or similar environment.
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Advertising/Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Proven ability to execute marketing campaigns independently, not just coordinate projects.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, creative production, and content strategy.
- Exceptional communication and client management skills.
- Comfortable juggling multiple clients and campaigns with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics, reporting tools, and campaign optimization.
Why This Role Is Different:
This is not a traditional project manager role. We are looking for someone who can both manage client relationships and deliver marketing work — from concept to execution. If your strength is scheduling and delegating rather than creating and implementing, this role is not a fit.
How to Apply
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to respond to all applicants but we will reach out to you if your resume matches the skills we’re looking for. No phone calls or visits please. No recruiters.
