Jack’s 2018 State of the Union Address

Successful marketing includes forecasting trends and staying ahead of the curve. Doing it right means change is inevitable. After 27 years of owning BURKE, I’ve come to know the same thing is true of marketing agencies: they evolve constantly.

BURKE certainly has evolved over the past year. One of my biggest goals for 2018 was to merge our talented departments into the best integrated team possible, and I brought on a number of fresh faces and industry veterans to help that become a reality.

Each of BURKE’s departments grew in some way, aligned with that goal of broadening our capabilities for producing excellent, integrated creative work. To ensure we keep up with digital marketing trends, our digital team grew. To keep our project flow efficient and to support both our team members and valued clients, we added to our account team. Knowing that high-quality content is the key to success, we grew our creative, management, web and video teams.

This integrated dream team has already accomplished so much in the past year including:

  • Anthony & Sylvan Pools’ integrated Splash Event campaign, which combined traditional and digital marketing tools with great success.
  • Food Lion’s “Local Goodness” video campaign that shared inspiring stories featuring local farmers through their social media platforms.
  • Benchmark’s interior graphics, signage and video presentations throughout their new office construction that managed to revolutionize their look while also maintaining corporate brand standards.
  • A new responsive website with a fresh look for Famous Toastery that integrated custom photography and video content.
  • An integrated, interactive web app that included 3D graphics, animation, video elements and high-quality UI/UX for Hitachi America Ltd, which was showcased successfully at a recent tradeshow.
  • Integrated marketing tactics for OmegaFlex’s new product launch of MediTrac, which included trade booth design, 3D virtual animated video, brochures and a press conference.

With our new capabilities, we’ve been pushing past traditional marketing techniques into digital efforts with all our clients — and will continue to do so.

We also continue to learn by assessing the impact of our work and using analytical results to inform our future projects. We want to make sure our efforts are always directed in the most effective ways possible toward client success.

We’re excited to ponder what 2019 will bring. We look forward to continuing work with our valued long-time clients as well as adding some exciting new clients. We want to take on more integrated projects. Of course, our most important goal is to deliver smart creative content, specifically tailored to each client’s needs, that gets results.
